The Braven Health Smart Card gives members easy access to their extra benefits allowances for things like eligible over-the-counter products, fitness equipment and more. It works just like a debit card at eligible retailers.

Number one. You can use your Smart Card like a debit card to access hundreds of dollars in extra benefits.

You have separate allowances for health-related items and services. This includes allowances for over-the-counter items, your Fitness benefit, health-related items and services under your Flex benefit and the Grocery benefit for those who qualify.

Plus, you can earn a bonus allowance from the Healthy Journey Rewards Program when you complete health-related activities.

Number two. OTC and Grocery benefit allowances get loaded onto your card every three months.

Be sure to use these allowances before the end of each quarter, because they will not carry over.

At the start of each quarter – your card will then be reloaded with a new 3-month allowance.

Just remember, check your balance often because any unused balances will expire at the end of each quarter before new funds are added.

Things to Know:

1. Register for an account on BravenSmartCard.com. This step will not activate your card.

2. Activate your card by calling, 1-844-210-2175 (TTY 711)

  • Over-The-Counter (OTC) Benefit

    Over-The-Counter (OTC) Benefit
    $70 - $85 every 3 months (varies by plan)

    You can spend $280 to $340 per year on OTC items. That’s $70 to $85 every 3 months on items like toothpaste, vitamins, denture cleaner and much more.

    • You'll receive the OTC Catalog in a separate mailing. Visit BravenSmartCard.com for more information about this benefit or to download a catalog. To request an additional catalog, call 1-800-688-9140 (TTY 711).
    • Free shipping, on online and catalog items, delivered right to your door
    • 4 convenient ways to order:
      1. Online: You can place an order online at BravenSmartCard.com. Remember to save your username and password for future orders.
      2. Mail: You can order OTC items by mail. The OTC catalog you receive will include an order form and instructions on sending us your request. Mail the order form to:Braven Health OTC Orders4613 N. University Drive, #586, Coral Springs, FL 33067

        If the end of the benefit period is approaching, you can order online or call us if you don’t think your order form will be received in time.

      3. Phone: If you have questions or would like to place an order over the phone, you can call our SmartCard Services line Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET, at 1-800-688-9140 (TTY 711).
      4. Retail: Visit a participating pharmacy or retailer to buy eligible OTC items with your available funds. A full list of participating retailers and OTC categories can be found under the Over-the-Counter Benefit section of the online portal at BravenSmartCard.com.
  • Grocery Benefit

    Grocery Benefit
    $85 every 3 months

    For those that qualify* you can use your Braven Health debit card to spend up to $340 per year to buy food and produce at participating stores. That’s $85 every 3 months. Spend it on approved grocery items at participating stores.

    To find participating stores and eligible items such as bottled water, fruits and vegetables, breakfast foods, dry pasta and more, visit BravenSmartCard.com.

    You can use your Braven Health debit card to spend up to a total of $275 each calendar year for one or more of the following benefits:

    • Weight Watchers weight management program (Weight Watchers Only)
    • Bathroom safety devices*
    • Nutritional/dietary benefit
    • Additional hours of Papa In-home Support Services
    • Activity tracker*
    • Transportation for health related rides via Uber and Lyft

    Fitness Benefit
    $200 per year

    You can use your Braven Health debit card to spend up to $200 each calendar year toward memberships at a health club, yoga studio and/or virtual fitness program you use at home, or eligible fitness equipment like a yoga mat, hand-held free weights, exercise bands and more.

Once confirmed, your rewards will be automatically loaded onto your Braven Smart Card.
