Braven Health members who have activated their online account at BravenHealth.com must also register with Rx Savings Solutions. There, you get access to a free online tool that searches for savings and works with your doctor to lower your out-of-pocket costs. People who enrolled in Rx Savings Solutions have saved an average of $439 out-of-pocket annually on their prescriptions, according to Rx Savings Solutions FY 2020 analysis.

Here’s how it works:

• You can sign up for the Rx Savings Solutions tool through your account on BravenHealth.com.
• Rx Savings Solutions works through Braven Health’s Pharmacy Benefits Manager, Prime Therapeutics, to access Braven Health’s prescription claims database and search for a savings opportunity for you. Rx Savings Solutions then sends you an alert based on your preferences — including email, direct mail or text alert — with the money-saving information.
• Savings could come from:
  • Switching to a generic instead of a more expensive brand drug
  • Taking the same drug but one made by a different company
  • Just changing from a capsule to a tablet of your current prescription
  • Using a different local pharmacy in your area, since prices vary even among the big pharmacy chains

No changes are made unless you accept the savings recommendation. You should always consult with your doctor before making any changes to your prescriptions. Once you agree, Rx Savings Solutions will work directly with the doctors who wrote your prescriptions to make the changes and deliver the savings.
